Virtual Garden 2012 digital

My Nan slept most of yesterday, recovering from the pinning of her hip operation after a fall. She is 98 years young. I was with her in the hospital all day yesterday and the day before. All I'm hoping for is the best outcome for her.

From the moment I learnt of her fall and hospitalisation, I started to see this visual in my head, as I place I can go to and be with Nan, and I've used it alot over the past few days to escape to.

I used the Once Upon A sketch Nov 2012 sketch http://onceuponasketchblog.blogspot.com.au/2012/11/november-challenge-group-b-reveal.html#comment-form, and The Color Room Palette #136 (with added white and french vanilla) https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Color-Room/113674121988240?ref=hl.

I don't think it will actually qualify for the Once Upon A Sketch comp - they say "traditional pages only". I don't know exactly what that means, but I suspect that probably means no digital pages. It doesn't matter if I can't win anything. I just loved the sketch and wanted to share it!

  2. OMG Kylie ! I think this is the most spectacular page I have seen from you. Goes totally up on my list of faves! You are getting more than the hang of creating in digi, super smashing indeed! Yes, traditional means paper layouts and does not include digi. Would have been amazing to see this done the traditional way. You could print everything out and mount the fussy-cut details on cardstock. Would look gorgeous with pop dots for dimension. Hope your weekend has been a really really good one, am SO glad to see your mojo has returned! Be good! xxx

  3. Thanks Eila and Mary. I still just can't sit at the scrap table to do anything. My nan was bright and cheerful yesterday. Soon (I hope) she will move to the ReHab hospital.
