Doodling with a gold pen...

I don't really know why, but all of a sudden I got really interested in how porcelain artists in the 1700-1800s painted on gold on plates.
I looked at the patterns like never before. The patterns were really intricate and yet repetive and I thought I'd like to try some of that on a page. It was easier to just doodle rather than draw lines and try and follow them. After a while, it was almost easy.
