Book of Me 2012 : page 5 - My 1st Adventure

I got this photo off old 8mm movie footage my dad took in 1970 that he recently had converted to DVD with mixed results. The only way I could get a pic was to put the DVD on and take a photo with my camera - thus poor quality footage and poor quality pic.

But as it so happens, this is one of my earliest memories and the first time I've seen it in photo format, and very lucky its in colour too! Couldn't get a pic of this layout that I was happy with though. The autumn light has been very poor.

Red 2012

A very belated The Color Room #107 palette using Scrapville Sketch April/May 2012.

I was determined to get something in for this difficult sketch. I ended up turning it on its side. I'm not very good at following sketches as a rule. I try to twist it creatively with mixed results! Do you like my speed red car? It's been a while since I did a car page.

 Ingredients: doilies/chipboard/blacknwhite cardstock all from Leanne J, gold beads, red organza ribbon, packaging (black/black stripes), doodled clouds, journal blocks (forget brand), etc
